Her services are geared toward clinicians of all disciplines, teachers, other service professionals, physicians, and psychology graduate students.

Psychological Seminars/Trainings

Dr. Novit is available to provide seminars/trainings, ranging from brief 1-hour mini-lectures to all day workshops, geared toward clinicians of all disciplines, other service professionals, physicians, parents/guardians, and teachers.

Topics can be tailor-made to fit the needs of the group; she frequently lectures on the following*

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Behavior Management Strategies
  • Child and Adolescent Issues
  • Executive Functioning
  • Psychological Assessment

Professional Consultation

Dr. Novit offers consultation to licensed clinicians of all disciplines, physicians, and other service professionals. This has taken many forms over the years, ranging from a one-time consultation on a particular case/issue to ongoing consultation for a period of time in order to develop greater skill and expertise in a specific area of practice. Consultation can address numerous issues but is often focused on psychological assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment.

School-Based Services

Dr. Novit partners with schools to provide psychological consultation services and professional seminars/trainings. Her services are especially helpful for concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning disorders, oppositional behaviors, social skills difficulties, and executive function deficits.

These services include:

  • Consultations to teachers and other professionals regarding students’ mental health including identification of mental health needs and its impact on school performance and/or classroom behavior
  • Professional Seminars/Trainings on child mental health for teachers and other service professionals
  • Collaboration and Psychological Support services for school personnel
  • Accessing resources and treatment recommendations for home and school

Dissertation Committee
